Unless otherwise stated, all content on this site, including the XHTML and CSS code of the website itself, is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike England & Wales License.
Roughly speaking this means you can do what you like with it as long as you give due credit to the original author and you're not doing it for money.
The ShareAlike clause means that if you distribute either my stuff or your own derivative of it, you have to use a licence containing exactly the same rights and responsibilities. My understanding is that this means you can use the generic Creative Commons by-nc-sa license, or the specific one for your own jurisdiction -- you don't have to use the England & Wales variant.
If you want to distribute under a non-CC licence, but one that preserves the same basic principles, please contact me and I'm sure it can be worked out.
If you want to use any of this stuff (or your own derivatives of it) for commercial purposes, you must seek permission from the relevant author. The standard license does not grant any right of commercial use, so this must be negotiated separately.
I'd love to hear any remixes, or uses to which the music has been put. The whole point of making it available is not simply to listen to, but to encourage taking an idea, extending it, remixing it, turning it upside-down, and then giving it back to the world. Variety and diversity are the essence of life, and therefore of music. Inter-breed.
